Set up in 2014 ChampDog Films was created initially to act as an avenue to produce the TV series Louisa created called GoryTime.
Louisa wanted to use GoryTime as a stepping stone for actors and film crew wanting to gain TV credits. The format of the show creates this opportunity. GoryTime's format is laid out as individual short horror films 'told' by a central group of characters the viewer sees each week. The cast and crew are different for each short, enabling those who are gaining their first credits to work alongside those with years of experience within the industry.
One of the very first pilots of GoryTime was a short horror called 'The Bear.' The show was originally aimed for a much younger audience and underwent a revamp.
In 2016 Louisa met with Proportion Productions, and collaborated on the erotic thriller feature film 'Darker Shades of Elise,' (distributed by Left Films) to be released in July 2017 as an association with ChampDog Films. They have also produced another feature 'Unhinged,' a remake of the 80's classic by Don Gronquist, (distributed by 88 Films in the UK and Ireland, and ITN distribution worldwide.)
Moving forward, ChampDog Film's first independant feature "Babysitter Killer" written by Scott Jeffrey will be shot at the end of May.
